Asim Hussain, a Muslim businessman from the city of Moradabad in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, was severely tortured by a mob of Hindu extremists.

Hindu extremists severely tortured the Muslim Businessman while coming from New Delhi to Moradabad by train. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media after which the railway police arrested two accused from Bareilly station.

Asim Hussain said that he was dealing in brass and had gone to Delhi in this connection. On the way back, he was traveling in the ordinary coach of the Padmavat Express. When the train stopped at Hapur station, some youth boarded the train and started beating them up in the moving train.

Asim Hussain said that the attackers pulled his beard and tortured him, calling him a thief. “Then the Hindu extremists stripped me of my clothes and started beating me severely with a belt and beat me to such an extent that I became unconscious,” he added.

He said that there were many people in the train compartment at the time of the incident but no one tried to save him and the goons kept beating him. He said that when the train approached Moradabad station, someone threw him out of the train before the platform.

Asim Hussain said that he reached home at night with the help of an acquaintance. He said that due to fear, he did not file a complaint with the police about the incident, but someone made a video of the incident and made it viral on social media. A complaint has been filed regarding the incident.

Meanwhile, Moradabad President of All India Majlis Ittihad-ul-Muslimeen, Waqi Rashid in a statement strongly condemned the incident and demanded immediate action against the culprits.
