In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, massive rallies were held today to mark the Jumatul-Wida as Kashmir and Qudas Day.
According to Kashmir Media Service, thousands of people participated in the rallies held in Srinagar, Badgam, Magam, Pattan, Bandipora, and other areas of the territory. They expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine. They also raised slogans against India and Israel. The rallies were organized by Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman Sharie Shian, Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen and other organizations.
The biggest rally was held in Magam town of Badgam in which thousands of female protesters participated.
The protesters were carrying banners and placards that read, “Palestine needs more hands to help them; to pray for them, pray for the children of Gaza, down with Israel and US, etc.
“Quds Day is not only a day of Palestine, but it is also the day of every oppressed,” a group of female protesters said.
