The BAR Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) has raised concerns on whether the proper judicial process was followed when granting a presidential pardon to former MP and murder convict Duminda Silva.
In a letter addressed to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, the BASL made six specific inquiries from the President on the pardon granted to Silva.
The BAR Association of Sri Lanka also called on the President to reveal to the public the judicial process that was observed in this regard. (NewsWire)
