Every human life matters, so do the Kashmiri lives, but India under Modi seems to have nothing to do with human value as it is killing even detained Kashmiris in fake encounters for demanding their globally accepted right to self-determination.

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service said it was a just day ago Indian troops extrajudicially martyred two youth; one was taken out of Kot Bhalwal jail, Jammu, where he was in detention since January 13, 2003 and killed in a bogus operation in Poonch district while the other, a labourer, was shot and killed in Shopian district. The latest killing raised the past six months’ toll to 117 in the occupied territory.

The report deplored that the world continues to act as a mute spectator while India has claimed lives over 95,894 Kashmiris since 1989 till date. Kashmiris have been living in conditions far worse than those witnessed in Nazi concentration camps.

With over 1000,000 troops’ presence, India has reduced IIOJK to the biggest prison of the world, the report added.

The detained youth identified as Zia Mustafa, a resident of Poonch, was taken out of jail, and was killed in a stage-managed encounter in Bhata Durrian, Mendhar area of Poonch district, today. The other youth, identified as Shahid Aijaz, who was working in an apple orchard, was martyred in Shopian district. He was a resident of Islamabad town.

The report urged the international community to make it clear to India that Kashmir is not its internal matter but an international dispute, which needs to be addressed as per relevant resolutions of the United Nations.
