Bharatiya Janata Party’s Narendra Modi-led Indian government is aggressively pursuing the extremist Hindu organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s nefarious agenda of making India a Hindu Rashtra.
An analysis by Kashmir Media Service pointed out that saffronization, the implementation of Hindutva ideology of RSS, has hit India’s all institutions including its judiciary since Modi became the Indian Prime Minister.
Saffronization of India means establishing hegemony of extremist Hindus and Hindu way of life in the country.
The analysis citing experts said Indian judiciary is showing its saffron colours by blindly favoring the fascist Modi regime. “Indian judiciary is always siding with the Modi government whenever any case related to Muslims comes before it. Giving clear chit to tyrant Modi in Gujrat riots case is a clear example of saffronized Indian judiciary,” it said.
The analysis said the verdicts on Hijab and Babri Masjid demolition cases have already proven that Indian judiciary is giving priority to Hindutva ideology. It maintained that Modi’s saffron brigade has initiated a cultural war against minorities particularly Muslims and properties, lives, honour and religious freedoms of Indian minorities are at the mercy of Hindu extremists. It deplored that there is no room for others but Hindus in the world’s so-called largest democracy.
The analysis pointed out that as part of saffronization of India, BJP regime is planning to rename all cities and landmarks having Muslims-rooted names. “Saffronization of India will have devastating consequences not only for India but for the whole world. The international community must wake up to stop India from becoming a fascist and saffronized state,” it added.
