Policeman kills three Muslim passengers on train in India

A Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable shot dead three Muslim men in cold-blood on a train in the Indian state of Maharashtra.

The incident occurred on Monday near Palghar railway station in Maharashtra when the RPF constable used his automatic weapon to shoot at three Muslim men who were on board the Jaipur-Mumbai Central Express train.

The video of the incident went viral, in which the constable, who has been identified as Chetan Singh, can be heard hailing the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minster, Yogi Adityanath.

“Agar Hindustan me rehna hai, toh mai kehta hun, Modi aur Yogi, ye do hain, aur aapke Thakrey (If you want to live in India, then I say, there are Modi and Yogi, these two, and your Thackeray),” he can be heard saying in the video.

Indian media reported that two of the victims were identified as Abdul Kadir and Asgar Kai. Identity of another victim is yet to be ascertained.

As per the RPF sources Chetan Singh was leading a team assigned the duty to escort the train until Surat railway station.
