Islamabad: Indian troops and its dreaded agencies have converted occupied Jammu and Kashmir into a colony of the stone-age where the people are being treated as slaves having no fundamental rights.

A report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said the people of Kashmir have been facing Indian state terrorism since 27 October 1947 when its forces forcibly landed in Srinagar and occupied the territory against the will of the Kashmiri people.

It said January 5, 1949 UN resolution embodies the principle of right to self-determination for Kashmiris but India is subjecting the IIOJK people to collective punishment for demanding UN-mandated plebiscite.

The colonization of IIOJK by Indian military policies has been a long-pending dream of Hindutva Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) which Kashmiris have rejected.

It said Kashmiris have been victims of Indian state terrorism for over seven decades as India is using state terrorism as a matter of official policy to punish the Kashmiris. The Modi regime is using every kind of oppression to subdue Kashmiris’ freedom, it added.

The report deplored that the Hindutva government of India had intensified its state terrorism since Aug 5, 2019 in IIOJK. New Delhi is systematically paving the way for settler colonialism in the occupied territory after imposing several anti-Kashmir and illegal brutal laws, it added.

The report revealed that Indian troops ruthlessly and inhumanly interrogated 70 innocent civilians and martyred three among them in the torture center in Bafliaz area of Poonch district while the Modi-sponsored media did not highlight it. .

Earlier, on Thursday, as a natural outcome against Indian oppression, Kashmiri freedom fighters during a clash killed five Indian troops and injured three others in Buffliaz, Surankote area of Poonch district.

The report added that India’s traditional mindset is blaming Pakistan for every action in IIOJK while the Kashmiris’ struggle for right to self-determination is indigenous and has no foreign backing. However, it is clear that being a party to the dispute, Pakistan morally, politically and diplomatically supports the freedom cause.

The report pointed out that the BJP government is using redrawing of electoral boundaries to advance Hindutva’s dangerous game plan in IIOJK after abrogation of articles 370 and 35A.

The report, referring to a series of false-flag operations orchestrated by the Indian secret agencies over the past several years said, “Pulwama attack in 2019, Uri attack in 2016, the Pathankot Air Base, Samjhota Express train blasts, the bombing in Mecca Mosque of Hyderabad Deccan and a 2008 blast in a Malegaon mosque and Mumbai attack in 2008 are the bone-chilling incidents of terror, which were orchestrated by the Indian secret agencies”.

The report said the BJP regime is creating colonial settlements in occupied Jammu and Kashmir on the pattern of Israel’s occupation of Palestinian land and it removed the barrier to colonize Kashmir by revoking Article 370 of the Indian Constitution, which granted special status to occupied Kashmir.

The report maintained that India illegally amended laws and gave state subjects, lands and settlement entry to non-Kashmiris, which damaged the demography of IIOJK in violation of the United Nations resolutions. India is freely violating the international law in Jammu and Kashmir, which is a disputed territory recognized by the United Nations Security Council and the world community, it deplored.

The Modi-led Indian regime in its colonial cunningness is hell bent to rob the people of Jammu and Kashmir of their well-bonded brotherhood and create an atmosphere of hatred among them to further the communal Hindutva agenda of RSS.
