Srinagar: The posters, rejecting Indian saffronized illegal and anti-Kashmir policies, urged the international community to take practical steps for resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with its relevant resolutions and the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the posters, which appeared in several parts of the territory, read: “Kashmiri people have never accepted Indian illegal occupation as Kashmir was never part of India and is not India’s internal matter but an international dispute on the United Nations agenda.”
The posters read India is completely disregarding the Kashmiris’ right to decide their future as per UN resolutions. The Indian RSS/BJP-dominated Indian SC bypassed all the principles of law and justice while announcing verdict in Article 370 case, it added.
It said the saffronized Indian judiciary has always acted as a tool to validate India’s illegal occupation over Jammu and Kashmir and the Indian SC through its Article 370 verdict has proved that it is acting under RSS-BJP influence.
The posters urged the world community to put pressure on India to restore Kashmir’s special status and resolve the lingering Kashmir dispute as per United Nations resolutions.
The posters in Kashmir urged people not to cooperate with the BJP regime and its anti-Kashmir policies while the BJP government is strengthening its military occupation and changing demography of the disputed territory.
Meanwhile, the APHC in its statement said that the Indian authorities were using all nefarious tactics to suppress the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination demand and lodge the freedom-loving people in jails.
The APHC reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue their struggle for right to self-determination till taking it to its logical conclusion.
