‘Modi regime using dreaded agencies to intimidate Kashmiris’

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, political experts and analysts have said that Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government has unleashed its dreaded agencies to suppress the Kashmiris’ ongoing struggle for securing their right to self-determination.

The political experts and analysts in their interviews and statements in Srinagar said India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) and State Investigation Agency (SIA) are conducting raids on a daily basis across IIOJK to harass the people and intimidate them into submission.

They said, the NIA and SIA frequently raid homes of Hurriyat leaders, human rights defenders, journalists and even ordinary people in IIOJK and these actions are meant to victimize those who refuse to toe BJP’s line in IIOJK. They cited the filing of chargesheet against incarcerated Kashmiri journalist Fahad Shah and PhD scholar Abdul Aala Fazili in false cases by the SIA as its example.

The political experts and analysts deplored that New Delhi is using its probe agencies as a weapon to terrorize the Kashmiris. “Modi regime is even using judiciary as a tool to browbeat Kashmiris. Hurriyat leaders, media persons, religious scholars and even ordinary Kashmiris are implicated in fake cases,” they said.

The political experts and analysts pointed out that freedom-loving Kashmiris are booked under draconian laws for their political beliefs and commitment to the struggle for right to self-determination. They said despite facing Indian brutalities, the Kashmiri people are determined to pursue freedom cause against all odds and urged the world human rights bodies to take cognizance of unlawful detentions in IIOJK.
