Parra demands release of all Kashmiri detainees before Eid

Abdul Ahad Parra, acting chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League, which is a constituent of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, has demanded the release of all Kashmiris, languishing in Indian jails including Hurriyat leaders and activists before Eid-ul-Adha.

Abdul Ahad Parra in a statement issued in Srinagar asked for immediate and unconditional release of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman Masarrat Aalam Butt and other leaders including Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Naeem Ahmad Khan, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Moulvi Bashir Ahmad Irfani, Mushtaqul Islam, Aasiya Andrabi, Ayaz Akbar, Pir Saifullah, Muhammad Rafiq Ganai, Merajuddin Kalwal, Shahidul Islam, Shaukat Hakeem, Merajuddin Nanda, Hayat Ahmed Butt, Ameer Hamza, Feroz Ahmed Dar, Farooq Ahmed Dar, Khurram Parvez, Asif Sultan, Aqib Ahmed, Ijaz Ahmed Butt and Muhammad Yusuf Falai.

Abdul Ahad Parra also demanded the release of Waheed Ahmad Butt, Bilal Siddiqui, Umar Adil Dar, Nahida Nasreen, Fahmida Sufi and Nazir Ahmed before Eid. He urged the international human rights organizations to take notice of the plight of the Kashmiri detainees and put pressure on India to release them without any further delay.
