Sultan urges Kashmiris living abroad to highlight Indian atrocities in IIOJK

Islamabad: President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has said that all Kashmiris, living abroad, should go to the chambers of the world, various capitals and international human rights organizations to highlight the human rights violations committed by India in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and play an effective role for the Kashmir freedom movement in every forum of the world.

Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry expressed these views in a special meeting with a delegation of Kashmiris, living in the UK at the President’s House at Kashmir House in Islamabad. Lord Mayor of Manchester Councillor Yasmin Dar led the delegation. Councillor Majid Khan, Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Self-Determination Movement International, Raja Najabat Hussain and Kanwal Hayat were included in the delegation.

The AJK President on the occasion said the mission of his whole life has been to organize the Kashmiris abroad and highlight the Kashmir freedom movement on the diplomatic front and in this regard, he is constantly in contact with Kashmiris living abroad, whether they come to Pakistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir or go to foreign countries. He added that the result of this contact was that in every house of Great Britain, in every house of Europe and in the world our friends’ members of Parliament and other forums continue to highlight the Kashmir dispute at the global level.

Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry urged the delegation to mobilize the professional people, councillors, community leaders and all organizations in the UK to play an active role with regard to the Kashmir dispute.

He said all Kashmiris living abroad should play an effective role on the diplomatic front for the freedom of their motherland.
