Nakba: The Palestinian ‘Catastrophe’

Today, the Zionist are concealing and systematically destroying the history of NAKBA like the doom Bedouin kingdom destroying the historical sites of the holy Prophet Muhammad and his family.

On May 15th, the United Nations will officially be commemorating the 76th anniversary of the Nakba.

The Palestinians commemoration of their forceful expulsion including killing and raping their women from their ancestral homes by marauding Zionist gangs.

Nakba Day is the day on which the usurper Zionists, after establishing their illegal rule over Palestine, inflicted immense humanitarian atrocities against the local people of Palestine.

The day in question is when the creation of Israel resulted in the forced expulsion of 850,000 Palestinians, confiscating and occupying 78 percent of historic Palestinian land.

The Zionist theft of Palestinian land was done by destroying over six-hundred cities, over fifteen thousand were massacred, and close to a million Palestinians were forced to flee into Gaza by armed Zionist IOF and gangs.

The occasion, known as Nakba Day, marks the establishment of Israel as a “Zionist majority state” at the expense of the destruction of Palestinian State.

One example is the Deir Yasin, a village in the West Bank where some 250 Palestinian civilians were butchered in cold blood to create an atmosphere of terror forcing the rest to flee.

This is what IOF is doing today. It is and never was a moral force, but a terrorist group creating fear and committing war crimes. They should be prosecuted.

The Nakba, which means “catastrophe” in Arabic, refers to the mass expulsion of Palestinians from their homeland during Israel’s creation and illegal conspiracy of Balfour declaration.

This continuous catastrophe of 76 years must stop and will be stopped by the University students and women of today as you see at numerous campuses.

The United States, Canada and the United Kingdom were among thirty countries that voted against the U.N. resolution to adopt the annual commemoration.

For the people of Palestine, the trauma of 76 years ago has never ended and now we see a second NAKBA with Arab leaders complicit in facilitating.

Expelling people from their homes and preventing them from returning is a war crime. Israel did not just commit a war crime in 1948, but rather it continues to commit war crimes to this day,

For the Palestinian people, the Nakba did not end in 1948, as its legacy continues to overshadow their present and future.

Since the establishment of the State of Israel, Israeli authorities have been employing settler-colonial policies and denying inalienable right to self-determination and right to return.

The Zionist narrative has been that there were no people in Palestine and miraculously a Jewish homeland was created in the wake of the Holocaust. The BIG lie and myth.

The Nakba is not just history but ongoing catastrophe genocide of an entrenched Zionist Israeli military occupation.

Today, Israel’s terrorist government has called to “erase” Palestine from the map to create greater Israel.

However, the Palestinians say their role despite the hardship, hunger, thirst, and bombing is simply stay put and die in honor and dignity to attain martyrdom.

The Palestinians have not given up on their right of return to their homeland. Unfortunately, the Nakba continues, so does the resistance against occupation and injustice.

For, an 81-year-old Nakba survivor Ghalia Abu-Mustafa has lived in Khan Younis Refugee Camp, wishing the day would come when she can return to her home where she was expelled as a 6-year-old child.

The grave injustice is that Jews from anywhere in the world can live in Palestine whereas Palestinians refugees cannot even visit Palestine.

Why have Zionist Israel has rejected all peace initiatives:

Zionist Israel is not interested in peace but greater Israel and erasing Palestine from the World map. This has been in the Likud party charter.

“From the river to the sea” is a chant is use by Israel politicians calling for the elimination of Palestine as an entity through genocide and ethnic cleansing. War Crimes!

Meanwhile, Israel has rejected and continues to reject all efforts aimed at finding a solution to the plight of Palestinians. It has rejected the Western-backed two-states solution.

The Netanyahu administration has made its top priority to ensure that the two-state solution is dead by escalating the settlement construction with US tax dollars in the Palestinian territories.

On the other hand, the current Israel government has vehemently opposed the one-state solution with equal rights for Jews, Muslims, and Christians.

The Knesset passed a controversial law in July 2018 stipulating that Israel is a “Jewish state,” effectively turning Israel’s sizable Arab Palestinian population into a second-class citizen.

Israel has also opposed the democratic solution for a referendum among the indigenous people of Palestine to determine their future of one state or two states.

The Media’s bias, hypocrisy, and double standard in reporting the current war in Ukraine or the holocaust with slavery is so apparent.

The evidence is so obvious that one can see the number of holocaust museums and movies compared to slavery or NAKBA.

There are hundreds of Holocaust museums in the USA compared to a handful slavery museums.

Moreover, why are Holocaust victims paid compensation and not victims of slavery or NKBA?

On this day of NAKBA, the Zionist are rewriting history to erase the brutality and barbarism and creating a new narrative by producing movies on Palestine as the barren desert with no inhabitants.
