The incumbent Indian government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intoxicated Hindu population with alarming levels of Hindutva mindset.
An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service said that Hindutva forces are deeming it a sacred duty to target Muslims and their properties. The Muslims are attacked, humiliated and even murdered for transporting cattle in India under Modi.
During Covid peak, the report said, Indian Muslims were labelled as virus spreaders to hide the collapse of Indian health system. It pointed out that Muslims are punished for their faith and culture in BJP ruled India and they are experiencing worse treatment at the hands of Hindutva forces than Jews faced under the Nazi regime. RSS-BJP followers are ideological equals of the Nazis.
Modi’s fascist regime considers Muslims as second class citizens, the report said and added that BJP and other Hindu extremists have started a concerted campaign against all religious minorities particularly Indian Muslims.
Indiscriminate and systematic violence against Muslims by RSS-BJP has unmasked the so-called secular face of India, which is, in fact, a fascist Hindu state, and the world must come forward to rescue Muslims from Hindu fascism, the report recommended. KMS—3K
