Srinagar: Communist Party of India Marxist (CPI-M) leader in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami, has said that abrogation of Article 370 was “unconstitutional” attack on special status of the territory.

Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami addressing a press conference in Kulgam said that the Indian Supreme Court heard the CPI-M’s petition challenging J&K Reorganization Act (2019), with their lawyer presenting a robust argument against the unilateral decision made on August 05, 2019.

He said, “We’re not seeking favors, just the return of what belongs to us and nothing that isn’t.” He expressed the hope that the Indian apex court would rectify the illegal and unconstitutional means through which Article 370 was revoked and that all that was taken away unlawfully would be rightfully reinstated.
