New Delhi: Former Governor of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Satya Pal Malik, has called for immediate restoration of statehood for the territory.
Malik raised the demand during a recent meeting with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Satya Pal Malik said the Kashmiris were hurt after India took away their statehood and making Jammu and Kashmir a union territory.
Malik said, J&K can’t be managed by a force or by an Army. Rahul Gandhi today shared a glimpse of the interaction.
In the video which he shared on X, the two leaders are seen talking about several issues, including the Pulwama attack and the present situation in IIOJK.
Satya Pal Malik while stating that the Modi govt used the Pulwama attack for BJP’s political gains said that New Delhi ignored the warnings in this regard.
