Modi responsible for worsening situation in Manipur, BJP leader resigns

Vinod Sharma, leader of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the ruling party in India, has held Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi responsible for worsening situation in Manipur and resigned from the party as a protest.

Vinod Sharma, a member of the BJP’s executive committee in the state of Bihar, besides releasing the news of his resignation to media, also posted posters in this regard at the chowks of the capital, Patna,.

He held Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh responsible for the dire situation in Manipur and demanded their resignation.

Vinod Sharma has also written a slogan in his poster which is like this “Bharat ki betiyan Kare Chetkar”. Shame on the Modi government for giving the slogan “save daughter”.

In his resignation letter sent to the BJP, he wrote, “The incident of girls being paraded around the streets in Manipur has shamed India all over the world. Both Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Biren Singh are responsible for this. Yes, I am ashamed to work under such a leadership, so I am resigning from all posts in BJP.”
